The Cooking and Pneumonia Study (CAPS) received its first batch of 100 advanced cookstoves at its trial sites in Malawi (pictured). During the next 6 months the sites will receive eight 40ft container loads containing 10,000 cookstoves. This cluster randomised trial investigates an advanced cookstove intervention to prevent pneumonia in children under 5 in Malawi.
