SCHOOL meals blogger Martha Payne and her family are ready to up sticks for a year and embark on an African adventure.

A SCOTS schoolgirl who raised £130,000 to feed African children is on the verge of moving to Malawi for a year.

Martha Payne and her family have been so impressed at the impact of the money that they are ­planning to live there.

Prebendal School in the UK raises money for Malawi children

PUPILS from the Prebendal School in Chichester have raised money for Malawi children.

The school’s concert band performed at St Richard’s Church, in Slindon, on March 2, in aid of the Nick Webber Trust, which helps street children in Malawi.

More than £1,300 was raised, and a further £500 by selling cakes and glow sticks.

The charity was set up in memory of Nick Webber, a 28-year-old lawyer who died in a car crash while working in Malawi as a volunteer lawyer. St Richard’s was his local church.
